Annual Picnic

DC Metro Dads has had an annual, family picnic since its inception. Look to the group messages for information about this year's picnic. We hold them at a member's house, usually in August.

Camping with DC Metro Dads

We have in the past had a monthly camping trip throughout the summer. Feel free to organize one or check the groups e-mails for details.

Tennis Anyone?

For the enthusiast, DC Metro Dads has had in the past, a tennis group that got together weekly. If interested, look for the group's e-mails with the details. Feel free to organize one yourself.

On Saturday, May 3rd 10:30 AM, at the Cineplex Odeon in Northwest. DC Metro Dads attended an advance screening of the Revolution Studios and Columbia Pictures movie, "Daddy Day Care".

He brought the Klumps to life in The Nutty Professor, talked to the animals in Dr. Dolittle and gave attitude to a donkey in Shrek. Now, Eddie Murphy enters the world of day care.

Starring: Eddie Murphy, Anjelica Huston, Steve Zahn, Jeff Garlin, Regina King. In the hilarious comedy Daddy Day Care, two fathers (Murphy, Jeff Garlin) lose their jobs in product development at a large food company and are forced to take their sons out of the exclusive Chapman Academy and become stay-at-home fathers. With no job possibilities on the horizon, the two dads open their own day care facility, "Daddy Day Care", and employ some fairly unconventional and sidesplitting methods of caring for children. As "Daddy Day Care" starts to catch on, it launches them into a highly comedic rivalry with Chapman Academy's tough-as-nails director (Anjelica Huston) ...who has driven all previous competitors out of business.
